About Dida’s

Dida’s started in 2017 as a fixed food truck making it a seasonal business. After only one season, construction of a new building began in December 2017. A new restaurant was built in 3 ½ months by Linda, the owner and her husband. A dream come true!

The restaurant opened its doors in April 2018! 

Dida's was made a successful dine-in restaurant because of the people in this small community, the people from the surrounding areas and people who come from all over northern Ontario.

The food is unique, made in-house, fresh, high quality and offers a great variety for all the foodies! We offer the best variety of gluten-free products in the District! Why? Because Chef Linda the owner is gluten-free! Our reviews are amazing!

Where does the name Dida come from? Well, it’s simple, Linda's niece at a young age called her Tante Dida cause she could not pronounce the name Linda. To this day, it’s still Tante Dida to her!

The evolution of this restaurant has been quite remarkable, and we are excited to welcome you!
